BTS’s V gave his fans a special gift immediately after being discharged from the military.

On June 11, V posted several photos from his time in the military, along with dance practice videos, on his personal Instagram account.
The photos, captioned “Love me tete,” show V in various moments of his military life: posing with fellow soldiers, snapping a shot with a snowman he made during snow-clearing duty, reading a book during a break while in uniform, standing by a lake in Chuncheon, training with actor Song Kang, and a close-up of his shaved head at the time of enlistment.

He was also welcomed back by close friends Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik, and Peakboy, who wore shirts that read “Welcome,” celebrating his return.
But it wasn’t just photos. V also posted two back-to-back dance practice videos with choreographer Leejung, sparking an explosive reaction from fans.

Even during his service, V never lost his passion for dancing. In a heartfelt letter to fans last year, he wrote:
“These days, I find a quiet corner and dance… My body was itching for it. I move a little so I don’t lose my identity!”
In a dance practice video shared on November 28, 2024, V performed an intense krump routine, showing off the physique he had developed in the military. In the new videos, he showcases a powerful yet smooth style, drawing attention for his control and versatility across different genres—from groovy movements to high-energy hip-hop.
In just two hours, the dance clips surpassed 20 million views. The first video, set to “Don’t drop that thun thun” by D’Mixmasters, has racked up over 30.6 million views. The second, featuring “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” by GloRilla and Sexyy Red, where he displays fierce determination, has topped 21.2 million views.
During a live stream on June 10, shortly after his discharge, V shared his feelings:
“It’s incredible that ARMYs waited for us. For a year and a half, we were barely visible, we had so little to offer… and yet, they waited and welcomed us with open arms.”

He also posted a message on Instagram saying:
“Thank you for waiting for me, ARMY,”expressing his deep love for his fans.
Even after 13 years in the industry and as a global superstar, V isn’t taking anything for granted. He continues to show his appreciation through hard work, passion, and humility—qualities that continue to touch the hearts of fans around the world.
