Singer and musical actor KIM JUNSU is capturing listeners’ hearts with a touching remake.
The Re:born Project track titled “내가 죽으려고 생각한 것은”, featuring vocals by KIM JUNSU, will be released on June 26 at 6 PM (KST) on various music platforms.
Originally released in 2013, the song was the 38th single by Mika Nakashima, titled “僕が死のうと思ったのは” (I thought about dying). It was well-loved not only in Japan but also in Korea, especially through Nakashima’s emotional live performances. Now, 12 years later, KIM JUNSU brings new life to the track with his heartfelt interpretation.
The autobiographical message about the sincerity of living blends powerfully with KIM JUNSU’s expressive voice, delivering a sense of hope and comfort to anyone going through tough times.
KIM JUNSU remains highly active across fields, from musicals to singing, variety shows, and video content. He starred in the musical “Aladdin”, released the digital single “OUR SEASON”, and participated in the OST for the drama “낮에 뜨는 달“. This August, he will hold the “XIA 2025 JAPAN FAN CONCERT: Journey to You”, continuing to engage fans both in Korea and abroad.
