The new boy band NOWZ (나우즈) from Cube Entertainment has been ramping up excitement for their comeback ahead of the release of its new album..
On July 1st, Cube Entertainment shared a collective keyword film on its official social media for NOWZ’s first mini-album (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyun) titled “IGNITION”. The video shows the members going through imperfect adolescence, with the intriguing line: “The words we scattered back then are starting to come back to us now.”
The keyword “now,” already highlighted in the individual member videos, is also emphasized in this video. It features HYEONBIN trying to break free from constraints, YOON isolated in loneliness, YEONWOO expressing his passion for his dreams, JINHYUK lost in the search for his identity, and SIYUN reflecting on the pain of first love—each embodying youthful emotions that resonate deeply.
NOWZ changed their name on June 2nd and released a pre-release single, “FLY TO THE YOUTH (Feat. YUQI)”, on June 17th. Produced by YUQI, the track marks a successful stylistic evolution. The group promises an even broader musical universe with this first mini-album.
NOWZ will officially release its first mini-album IGNITION on July 9th across all music platforms.
