HYBE is hosting a multi-label integrated audition to discover new global talent.
On July 4, HYBE announced via the official HYBE Labels Audition social media channels the launch of the “HYBE MUSIC GROUP AUDITION.” This marks the first integrated audition conducted across the entire HYBE Music Group. The released poster features an image of infinitely connected golden rings, along with the phrase “A new stage is opening,” raising high expectations for the discovery of the next generation of stars.
With this audition, a single application allows candidates to apply to all 8 HYBE-affiliated labels: Big Hit Music, Belift Lab, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, ADOR, and YX LABELS. Additionally, HYBE X RYAN TEDDER, a collaboration with multi-platinum producer and four-time Grammy Award winner Ryan Tedder, is also participating in the audition.
The audition is open regardless of gender or nationality to applicants born in 2007 or later. Participants can apply in singing, dancing, or any other talent area that showcases their skills and charm. Online applications will be accepted from July 14 to September 7. In Japan, a pop-up event related to the 8 participating labels will be held from August 27 to 30 at the MIL Gallery & MIL 2ND in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Furthermore, HYBE is expanding its music business worldwide through HYBE MUSIC GROUP APAC. The group develops artists through its international subsidiaries, including HYBE America, based in the United States—the world’s largest music market—as well as HYBE Japan and HYBE Latin America. A subsidiary in India is also planned to launch between September and October.
