The concept for singer NAM WOO HYUN’s new album has finally been fully revealed.
On July 18 at midnight KST, Billions, his agency, released the fourth concept photo for “TREE RING”, NAM WOO HYUN’s fifth mini-album, through its official social media channels.
The newly unveiled images show NAM WOO HYUN in a dark setting, with black hair and an all-black outfit, exuding intense charisma. Wearing eye-catching accessories like a nose cuff and a necklace, he captivates with his deep gaze, giving off a chic and sexy charm.
In another shot, his sharp profile, refined nose and defined jawline, has made fans swoon. Through the four different sets of concept photos released so far, NAM WOO HYUN has shown remarkable versatility, portraying everything from a laid-back boyish vibe to dandy sensitivity, refined innocence, and sleek charisma, proving his ability to embody limitless concepts.
By heightening anticipation with these photos, NAM WOO HYUN is making a major return to the music scene with “TREE RING”, roughly 10 months after releasing his digital single “Boyfriend (너의 남자)” last September.
He will also hold a solo concert titled “식목일5 – 나무고(高) : TREE HIGH SCHOOL” this August. The concert will kick off on August 16 and 17 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park, followed by a tour: September 14 in Macau, October 19 in Taipei, October 25 in Kuala Lumpur, November 15 in Manila, and November 22 and 23 in Hong Kong.
“식목일5” features a school-themed concept that matches the subtitle “Namugo,” which translates to “Tree High School.” The main poster, released earlier, shows NAM WOO HYUN transformed into both a student and an intern teacher, fueling fans’ excitement. Moreover, the Seoul shows sold out immediately upon the opening of fan club pre-sales on July 16, once again confirming NAM WOO HYUN’s status as a K-pop legend.
NAM WOO HYUN’s fifth mini-album, “TREE RING”, will be released on July 30 at 6 PM (KST) on major music streaming platforms.
