JACKSON WANG: “MAGIC MAN 2” is out now

On July 18, JACKSON WANG released his second studio album, “MAGIC MAN 2″, simultaneously worldwide. This new release follows his first full-length album MAGIC MAN, which came out in 2022, and presents a more mature musical universe along with introspective storytelling.

“MAGIC MAN 2” blends JACKSON’s signature refined sound production and performance style, delivering a multidimensional sound that harmoniously fuses rock, pop, and electronic elements. The album stands out for its deeper exploration of self-identity and heightened emotional range compared to its predecessor. Through this project, JACKSON demonstrates clear artistic growth, writing songs primarily for himself, expressing his emotions and thoughts honestly not only as an artist, but as a person, confronting reality, society, humanity, and the music industry.

Through his alter ego “MAGIC MAN”, this album portrays JACKSON’s journey of confronting inner turmoil and seeking healing. Structured in four chapters, denial, loss, insight, and healing, “MAGIC MAN 2″ conveys his most sincere and vulnerable emotions through music. JACKSON stated, “We all experience our own ‘MAGIC MAN’ as we grow,” expressing his hope that the album goes beyond being just a creative work, allowing listeners to share in his emotional experience and healing process.

Having debuted as a member of GOT7, JACKSON WANG has become a multidisciplinary creator, making a mark not only in music but also in design and fashion. Leading his own label, Team Wang Records, and fashion brand, Team Wang Design, he has consistently showcased his talent as a creative director. In late June, he collaborated with Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) — Pharrell Williams’ brand — to launch the capsule collection Life is a Race, which gained attention for its modern streetwear reinterpretation of motorsport culture. This personal aesthetic is also embedded throughout “MAGIC MAN 2″.

With the release of “MAGIC MAN 2″, JACKSON is also preparing a new world tour. His previous “MAGIC MAN WORLD TOUR” sold out in over 30 cities across North America, Europe, and Asia, heightening anticipation among international fans for his upcoming performances.
