BBAEK GA of KOYOTE reveals a new side with a playful hip-hop track.

On July 27 at noon, BBAEK GA dropped his very first hip-hop single, “I CAN NOT SPEAK ENGLISH,” across various online music platforms.
As the title suggests, the song features a repeated English chorus, a simple structure, and humorous lyrics, making it an easy and enjoyable listen. Unlike KOYOTE’s usual rap style, this track showcases BBAEK GA’s unique approach to hip-hop. Although most of the lyrics are in English, they remain accessible and easy for a wide audience to understand.
What makes this single even more special is that BBAEK GA handled nearly every aspect of its production himself. From writing the lyrics and composing the music to designing the album cover and filming and editing the music video, he directed the entire project—once again proving his versatility and talent as a well-rounded artist beyond just music.
BBAEK GA shared:
“Rather than focusing on technical aspects like rhythm, flow, or rhyme, I want listeners to enjoy how lighthearted and accessible this song is. I hope everyone can enjoy hip-hop without feeling intimidated by it.”
Having already explored various solo genres including disco, new age, and orchestral music, BBAEK GA signals through this single his desire to break musical boundaries in the future, with plans to explore genres like techno and funk.
As a reminder, BBAEK GA’s debut hip-hop single, “I CAN NOT SPEAK ENGLISH,” has been available on all music streaming platforms since noon on July 27.
