HO JUN has officially launched his music career with the release of his first EP album, “FLOATING ON HJ SPACE”.
Released on the 25th of last month across major streaming platforms, the album consists of four self-written tracks. It stands out for its narrative, which uses the metaphor of the “universe” to portray a person’s inner world, tracing the flow of emotions and a journey of self-reflection.
The emotional arc, spanning ideals, devotion, collapse, confusion, and finally, understanding and acceptance of others, leads to a conclusion described as “true freedom.”
With this album, HO JUN raises essential questions such as, “Why do we feel emotions? How do we move forward after getting hurt?” and explores the answers through his music. Crossing genres like R&B, rock, and synthpop, he balances sonic experimentation with emotional depth.
The organic connection between the tracks and their dramatic composition offer listeners an immersive experience, much like watching a narrative performance.
