JIMIN of BTS nominated for an MTV VMA.

On August 5 (local time), the organizers of the “2025 MTV Video Music Awards” (hereafter “2025 MTV VMAs”) announced this year’s list of nominees. According to the announcement, JIMIN was nominated in the Best K-Pop category for “Who,” the title track of his second solo album “MUSE”.
Since his first MTV VMA nomination in 2019 with BTS, JIMIN has taken home a trophy four years in a row. During those years, BTS notably won “Group of the year” (formerly Best Group), affirming their dominant presence on the global stage. This year, for the first time, JIMIN has been nominated as a solo act, standing out individually as an artist.
Released in July of last year, “Who” remained on the Billboard Hot 100, the main U.S. singles chart, for a total of 33 weeks. The song continues to chart on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. rankings, a testament to the enduring love and support it receives from listeners worldwide.
The 2025 MTV VMAs will be held on September 7 at UBS Arena in New York.
