HYBE and Geffen Records launch second global girl group project following KATSEYE
On August 7, HYBE and Geffen Records announced the start of a large-scale audition across Japan called “WORLD SCOUT THE FINAL PIECE.”
“WORLD SCOUT THE FINAL PIECE” is a global talent discovery project jointly planned by HYBE and Geffen Records, with HYBE’s elite scouting team directly involved in identifying promising potential stars.
Successful auditionees will receive K-pop style training developed by HYBE and Geffen Records specifically for the U.S. market from October through December. Afterwards, they will join a training camp in the United States to compete, and the final selected members will join the team aiming for a debut next year.
This journey will be exclusively documented and broadcast in spring 2026 on the Japanese OTT platform ABEMA. HYBE and Geffen Records described the project as capturing “the growth process of global talents alongside world-class producers.”
