LE SSERAFIM has achieved the best performance among 4th generation K-pop groups in the French music market.
According to an announcement by Billboard France on the 6th, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae) ranked 6th on the list of “Most-Streamed K-pop Groups in France in 2025.” The ranking is based on data compiled by Luminate, a U.S. company that specializes in entertainment industry analytics.
LE SSERAFIM secured the highest position among all 4th generation girl groups, confirming their global influence. Among all girl groups regardless of generation, they ranked just behind BLACKPINK, which placed 3rd, making them the second-highest-ranking female act. Notably, LE SSERAFIM demonstrated strong competitiveness in the French music market despite never having held a tour or solo concert in the country, proving its local popularity.
LE SSERAFIM has shown powerful presence on music streaming platforms both in Korea and globally. The title track “Hot” from its 5th mini-album, released in March, continues to appear on major Korean music charts such as Melon, Bugs, and Genie, nearly five months after its release. They are also approaching 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. On July 21, Spotify released its “Global Impact List” for the first half of 2025, where LE SSERAFIM achieved the highest ranking among K-pop girl groups. The list highlights the most-listened-to songs by Korean artists globally, excluding South Korea.
Their performance in the U.S. market is especially noteworthy. According to Luminate’s “2025 Midyear Music Report” released on July 16, their 5th mini-album ranked 9th on the “U.S. Top 10 CD Albums” chart, which tracks physical CD sales. LE SSERAFIM was the only K-pop girl group to make the list, underscoring their unique impact.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is currently on their Asian tour, “2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’ IN ASIA.” After sold-out shows in Taipei, Hong Kong, and Manila, the group will perform in Bangkok on August 9 and 10 before wrapping up the tour in Singapore on August 16.
