The singer and actress IU is planning a special meeting with her fans at the end of summer.
On August 8, her agency EDAM Entertainment announced via IU’s official social media channels the upcoming “2025 IU FAN MEET-UP [Bye, Summer],” which will take place on September 13 and 14 at the KSPO DOME. The official poster was also revealed. It shows IU gazing at the camera with a tender expression in a refreshing atmosphere, evoking emotion. The sky-blue hues and poetic typography enhance the soft, nostalgic vibe of the fanmeet.
“Bye, Summer” will be IU’s first official in-person event with fans in about two years, the last being the fan concert “I+UN1VER5E” in September 2023. The event’s title also references an unreleased IU song that was first revealed at her concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and drew a lot of attention. The event is meant to be “a gentle farewell to summer.”
Unlike her previous fan concerts focused on the stage performance, this fan meet-up will place more emphasis on interaction with fans. It promises to be a warm and intimate moment, reflecting IU’s unique style and offering a friendly, sincere atmosphere.
Tickets for the “2025 IU FAN MEET-UP [Bye, Summer]” will be available through Melon Ticket. Fanclub pre-sales will open on August 11 at 8 PM, and general sales will begin on August 13 at 8 PM. More details will be shared on IU’s official social media channels.
