YG executive producer YANG HYUN SUK directly announced new album releases from TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, and BLACKPINK, heightening anticipation among music fans worldwide.

On August 18, YG Entertainment released the video “TREASURE & BABYMONSTER | YG ANNOUNCEMENT,” an interview with YANG HYUN SUK about the YG artists whose albums will dominate the second half of 2025.
TREASURE, celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, is set to release its third mini-album, “LOVE PULSE”, on September 1. YANG HYUN SUK stated:
“The members of TREASURE, who were teenagers at debut, are now all adults in their twenties. If the first five years were the first act of their journey, this new album marks the beginning of the second act.”
He expressed hope for TREASURE’s continued growth in the global music market.
The new mini-album will feature four tracks: “Everything”, “Paradise”, “Now forever”, and “Better than me”. The title track is “Paradise,” a retro disco-funk song. YANG HYUN SUK explained:
“Since the album is coming out before their world tour, we designed it with songs that allow interaction with fans. The music videos will include the title track Paradise and Everything for the second phase of promotions.”
BABYMONSTER will return with a mini-album on October 10. The album will not include their previous track “Hot sauce”, and will feature four new songs. The title track, “We go up,” is an intense hip-hop track symbolizing their determination to rise even higher. YANG HYUN SUK added:
“We will release a concept video as well as a high-quality dance video equivalent to a music video to accompany the release.”
The second track, “Psycho,” was considered for the title track because of its intensity. “Supa dupa luv” is a slow hip-hop-influenced song, while the fourth track, “Wild”, is a danceable country-inspired track aimed at broad audience appeal.
YANG HYUN SUK noted:
“We have already recorded about 80–90% of BABYMONSTER’s new songs planned for next year. We will continue to engage with fans without interruption.”
In a previous interview, he mentioned establishing a renewed music system at YG Entertainment, with over 50 in-house producers and regular collaborations with foreign producers through song camps, confirming the smooth operation of this system.

The release of BLACKPINK’s new album was also officially confirmed by YANG HYUN SUK, who said:
“All members and the producers in charge are working hard. We will make sure the album is released in November.”
At the end of the video, a choreography practice video for “Everything”, one of TREASURE’s third mini-album tracks, was revealed as a surprise, delighting fans worldwide. This is the first time YG Entertainment has previewed a track and its choreography two weeks before the album release. The video shows TREASURE training intensely, heightening anticipation for the comeback.
YG Entertainment stated:
“This video was not filmed for public release but as an internal archive. The members are wearing their personal clothes and have no makeup. The video was shot with a simple phone, without professional equipment. It’s a surprise gift for the fans, and we hope they enjoy it.”
