Singer JUNIEL is making her comeback in the music industry like a “comet.”
On August 18, JUNIEL announced through her official social media, along with a “coming soon” teaser image, the release of her new digital single “혜성 (Comète)” set for August 26 at noon (KST).
The revealed image shows JUNIEL from behind, facing the night sky while pointing at something. In the starry sky appears a glowing illustration reminiscent of the new song’s title, “혜성 (Comet)”. The comet is drawn exactly where JUNIEL’s gaze is fixed, sparking curiosity among music fans.
This new track “혜성 (Comet)” marks JUNIEL’s return after about a year and five months, since the release of “안녕 (Goodbye)” in March last year. JUNIEL herself participated in the production of the song, composing the melody and writing the lyrics, fully infusing it with her own musical color.
Ahead of the release, the singer is drawing attention by unveiling various promotional content: a first concept photo on August 20 at 7 PM, a teaser video on August 22, and a second concept photo on August 25.
As a singer-songwriter, JUNIEL debuted in 2012 and released several hit songs such as « 일라 일라 », « 나쁜 사람 », « 귀여운 남자 » and « 물고기자리 ».
