New boy group CORTIS is set to release its first album and has given fans a sneak peek at several tracks and its music videos.

CORTIS is the first new group launched by BigHit Music, a label under HYBE Music Group, in six years.
On September 6 at 6 PM KST, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, Keonho) uploaded three mood samplers from its debut album “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” on HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel. These samplers offered fans a glimpse of three album tracks beyond the previously released title track “What you want” and intro track “GO!”.
The “FaSHioN” mood sampler opens with shots of glaciers in New Zealand. The striking contrast between the grand natural scenery and the powerful music blending trap and southern hip hop elements sparks curiosity about the track.
“JoyRide” shows the members heading out on a drive with no specific destination. The footage, reminiscent of old camcorder recordings, paired with the melodic and catchy essence of alternative rock, delivers a vibe that is both refreshing and nostalgic.
The final mood sampler, “Lullaby,” was filmed underwater. Scenes of the members swimming freely are paired with experimental guitar riffs and psychedelic soul music, reflecting the carefree freedom of youth.
CORTIS’ debut album “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” represents the first steps of the five members in pursuing what they truly want, rather than a key handed to them by someone else. All members are credited on the album and contributed to the performances of “GO!”, “What you want”, and “FaSHioN”.
Additionally, drawing inspiration from self-produced videos from their trainee days, they created music videos for every track on the album. Starting September 8 at 6 PM KST, CORTIS will gradually release these videos, beginning with “FaSHioN”.
Meanwhile, on August 18, CORTIS released the title track “What you want”. The song quickly gained major attention, ranking #1 on Spotify’s “Daily Viral Songs Global” chart for four consecutive days (September 1–4).
As for “GO!”, which was first released as a video, it gained popularity even before the official audio release, thanks in part to a viral dance challenge on short-form video platforms.
