STRAY KIDS, PARK JIN YOUNG
PARK JIN YOUNG, executive producer at JYP Entertainment, gifted 160 don (approximately 600 g) of gold to STRAY KIDS, who recently set a historic Billboard record.
Recently, STRAY KIDS posted on their official social media a photo of a gold frame with the message: “Thank you, PD-nim.” The members posed with the frame, beaming smiles, for a commemorative photo, with PARK JIN YOUNG present, creating a warm celebratory atmosphere.
This gift celebrates the new record set by STRAY KIDS’ 4th studio album, “KARMA,” which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart on September 6.
With this achievement, STRAY KIDS became the first artist to top Billboard’s main album chart with seven consecutive albums, from “ODDINARY” in 2022 to “KARMA.”
The frame prepared by PARK JIN YOUNG consists of eight pieces, one for each member. Each frame is made of 75 g of pure gold (20 don), totaling 160 don.
At current gold prices, this exceeds ₩100 million (about €61,000). Moreover, international gold prices continue to reach historic highs. STRAY KIDS’ pure gold frames therefore carry both symbolic value and future investment potential.
Par ailleurs, PARK JIN YOUNG a récemment été nommé coprésident du Comité de l’échange culturel populaire auprès de la présidence (au niveau ministériel).
