The group BAE173 has fallen victim to a leak of its new single ahead of the release of its first full-length studio album.
On September 23, it was confirmed that excerpts of certain songs from the studio album had been illegally uploaded on social media. The agency immediately began tracing the source of the leak and preventing further damage.
A representative stated:
“We are quickly investigating the cause of the leak and will thoroughly review every step to implement measures to prevent this from happening again.”
The first studio album, scheduled for October, will be BAE173’s very first full album since debut, generating high anticipation as it showcases the members’ musical growth. The leaked tracks are particularly sensitive, as they are songs not yet officially released.
The agency added: “The planned release schedule will not change, and BAE173 will continue preparations for the comeback as scheduled.”
