ZEROBASEONE
Pure emotion from a group at its peak, here’s the new live clip from ZB1 that captivates from the very first second.
On October 2, 2025 at midnight KST, YouTube premiered “ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원) ‘i know u know’ LIVE CLIP”. This live version of “I know u know” joins their official discography, offering fans a rawer and more heartfelt performance than the official music video. The release is part of the promotions for their first full-length album “NEVER SAY NEVER”, which dropped in September 2025.
In this live clip, all nine members, SUNG HANBIN, KIM JI WOONG, ZHANG HAO, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAERAE, RICKY, KIM GYU VIN, PARK GUN WOOK, and HAN YU JIN, shine through alternating solo, duo, and group cuts. The focus is on the emotional bond between the singers and their audience, with meaningful eye contact, subtle gestures, and moments of shared intimacy. The editing rhythm mirrors the flow of the song, enhancing the energy of the performance.
Musically, “I know u know” acts as a closing track, soft, intimate, yet carrying a solemn weight. Positioned as the finale on “NEVER SAY NEVER”, it leaves the album on an affectionate, thankful note dedicated to fans. In its live version, controlled imperfections, breaths, natural inflections, amplify its sincerity. Each member delivers their unique vocal color and nuance without polish, making the performance especially touching.
Visually, the clip adopts a pure, minimalist aesthetic: soft lighting, clean backdrops, and coordinated outfits. With no heavy visual effects, the spotlight stays on the members’ expressions and voices. This stripped-down style makes it feel as if the group is addressing each viewer directly.
Since its debut through Boys Planet in 2023, ZEROBASEONE (also known as ZB1) has become a cornerstone of the new K-pop generation. Their name, symbolizing the journey from 0 to 1, embodies a shared pursuit of dreams. With the release of “NEVER SAY NEVER”, the group further solidifies its artistry. Its lead single “Iconik”, promoted as the title track, has already achieved wide success, while the album itself sold over 1.5 million copies in its first week and topped charts worldwide.
Yet fans are acutely aware of the ticking clock: from the start, ZEROBASEONE’s contract was set to last until January 31, 2026, a two-and-a-half-year span. This looming end date makes every release, every performance, and every interaction even more precious, deepening the emotional connection with ZEROSE (the group’s fandom).
Looking ahead, ZEROBASEONE is preparing for its second world tour, set to launch at the end of 2025 and expand across multiple continents. Fans eagerly anticipate singing along in stadiums worldwide, where this live version of “I know u know” will surely echo in unison with thousands of voices.
