MIYEON, member of I-DLE, will make her return with a second mini-album.
According to CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, MIYEON from I-DLE will release her second mini-album titled “MY, LOVER” on November 3 at 6 p.m. KST. This marks her solo comeback after 3 years and 6 months since her first mini-album “MY”.
The second mini-album “MY, LOVER” explores love from different perspectives. While the first mini-album “MY” introduced MIYEON’s story as a solo artist, the second installment of the “MY” series promises even deeper and more nuanced love songs.
On October 20 at midnight KST, CUBE ENTERTAINMENT released an introduction film for “MY, LOVER” on I-DLE’s official account.
This intro film visualizes the wide range of emotions that accompany the beginning and the end of a love story. It depicts the intense warmth of falling in love through melting ice cream and a chair, followed by lightning and rain symbolizing separation, illustrating the various faces of love through extreme contrasts.
In the past, MIYEON had already showcased her singer-songwriter abilities with the digital single “SKY WALKING”. She also took part in writing and composing the song “Unstoppable”, included in I-DLE’s 8th mini-album “WE ARE”, released in May, further expanding her musical spectrum.
