Member KIM DANIEL of WAVE TO EARTH has confirmed his influence as a composer.
KIM DANIEL received the Composer of the Year award at the “TikTok Awards 2025” held on the 25th at Hwa-jeong Stadium, Korea University, Seoul.
The Composer of the Year award is given by the Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA), based on the global usage of composers’ catalogs on TikTok. It evaluates the impact and trends generated by music on the platform to designate the winner.
KIM DANIEL is the writer of signature WAVE TO EARTH tracks such as “Bad”, “Seasons”, and “사랑으로”, which have garnered strong reactions both online and offline. He had the honor of being the first recipient of this award.
Through his agency, KIM DANIEL stated: “Thanks to the warm reactions and interest received on social media and online, I was able to become a musician on a world tour,” expressing his emotion and gratitude.
Additionally, WAVE TO EARTH is building an international fandom through TikTok and other social media, and is currently touring North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Furthermore, KIM DANIEL is also the guitarist and singer of the group THE POLES, which sold out its solo concert “Space Boys” on November 1st and 2nd at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Seoul, confirming the enthusiasm of music fans.
