The agency MODENBERRY KOREA is adding a new talent to its roster for a future K-pop group.

A “tteokbokki spoon” idol (a Korean expression referring to someone from a privileged background) is about to debut. The future member HA MINKI of a new boy group, prepared by MODENBERRY KOREA, is at the center of attention. The agency counts among its talents former TEENTOP member BANG MIN SU and former DIA member AN SOM YI.
On October 28, MODENBERRY KOREA announced: “We will introduce a new boy group in the second half of next year. Before the official debut, HA MINKI will communicate with the public through various channels.”
According to the agency, HA MINKI, born in 2007, is the grandson of the founder of the Shinjeon Tteokbokki franchise and the nephew of CEO HA SUNGHO. He was a trainee at SM ENTERTAINMENT and Woollim ENTERTAINMENT.
A representative of MODENBERRY KOREA added: “The Shinjeon Tteokbokki family is actively supporting HA MINKI’s preparations, for which we are grateful. With his tall height of 185 cm and refreshing look, he will captivate the audience.”
HA MINKI stated: “I’m already excited to communicate with my fans. I want to touch the audience with sincere music.”
