On October 28, 2025, agency One Hundred released an official statement through THE BOYZ’s social media accounts, announcing that member KEVIN will be taking a temporary break from group activities due to health and psychological concerns.
In the statement shared on the group’s official account, the agency explained:
“Recently, KEVIN has been experiencing physical and psychological difficulties. After a medical consultation, he was advised to take rest and prioritize stability.”
Following careful discussions between the artist and the agency, it was decided that KEVIN will temporarily suspend all activities in order to focus entirely on his recovery.
The agency added that KEVIN will not participate in upcoming events, including the fan sign scheduled for October 28. Therefore, THE BOYZ will continue promoting as eight members until further notice, with KEVIN resuming activities once he has fully recovered.
Regarding video call events and other scheduled fan interactions, One Hundred stated that they will be rescheduled once KEVIN’s condition improves.
“We will continue to closely monitor KEVIN’s health and provide him with all necessary support so that he can recover as soon as possible. We ask for fans’ understanding and kind support regarding this decision.”
Shortly after the announcement, fans, known as THE B (더비), flooded social media with messages of love and encouragement, expressing their wish for KEVIN to take all the time he needs to rest and recover.
This update comes as THE BOYZ continues their promotional activities as eight members. The agency concluded the statement by apologizing for the concern caused and reaffirming that the artist’s health remains their top priority.
THE BOYZ currently consists of ten members: SANGYEON, JACOB, YOUNGHOON, HYUNJAE, JUYEON, KEVIN, NEW, Q, SUNWOO, and ERIC. The group recently wrapped up a successful round of promotions and is preparing new projects for the end of the year.
