JUNGKOOK, the face of Calvin Klein, shines at the “China International Import Expo”.
BTS’s JUNGKOOK once again made waves as the model for Calvin Klein’s 2025 holiday campaign. During the China International Import Expo (CIIE) held in Shanghai on November 8, CALVIN KLEIN took part in the event for the first time, showcasing JUNGKOOK’s latest campaign as its main promotional content.
Held from November 5 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the China International Import Expo is a large-scale international event co-hosted annually by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government. For this 8th edition, 155 countries, regions, and international organizations participated, along with 290 companies from the world’s top 500 and leading enterprises in each field, setting a new record for participation.
For its debut at the expo, CALVIN KLEIN drew attention by displaying new , JUNGKOOK, camp,aign on a large screen. International fans reacted enthusiastically to JUNGKOOK, in CALVIN KLEIN’s first appearance at the event.
“If you want to make your debut at an exhibition, of course you have to choose the best brand ambassador. CALVIN KLEIN knows who its most valuable asset is. JUNGKOOK is always the main attraction,” commented one fan. Another added, “Wow, that’s amazing! I love seeing JUNGKOOK promoted on such a grand scale,” while a third simply referred to it as “the JUNGKOOK effect,” highlighting his undeniable influence.
JUNGKOOK made his solo debut in July 2023 with the single “SEVEN (feat. Latto)”, later collaborating with Jack Harlow on “3D” in September, and finally releasing his first studio album “GOLDEN” in November of the same year, cementing his status as a global solo artist.
That CALVIN KLEIN chose to feature JUNGKOOK’s campaign at the forefront of its first participation in Asia’s largest import fair demonstrates not only his worldwide influence but also his commercial power and brand value, particularly in the Chinese market.
