Thai groups, beyond BL, are starting to gain popularity.

The Thai boy group LYKN (ไลแคน) has just reached an important new milestone: 1 million followers on its official Instagram account (@lykn_official). Their success on social media confirms the growing buzz around the group, both in Thailand and internationally.
Formed by the agency RISER MUSIC, a subsidiary of GMMTV, LYKN is a five-member group: NUT (ธนัท ดา่นเจษฎา), HONG (พิเชษฐ์พงศ์ ชิรดาเทศกุลวงศ์), TUI (ชฏาทร ตรายรัตนประดิษฐ์), WILLIAM (จักรภัทร เกวพันธ์พงศ์) and LEGO (รภีพงศ์ สุพตินีกิจเดชา). They debuted on May 5, 2023 with the digital single “เลิกกับเขาเดี๋ยวเหงาเป็นเพื่อน (MAY I?)”.
Since their debut, LYKN has released a series of notable singles and projects. Their most recent music video is “Feel like me”, released on October 14, 2025, a track with a modern sound blending deep bass and rhythmic percussion, perfectly reflecting the group’s musical evolution. Alongside their music production, they remain very active in 2025 with album projects, concerts, and a growing presence on the international scene.
Reaching 1 million followers on Instagram also marks for LYKN a recognition of their rising popularity, not only among fans in Asia but around the world. It illustrates the strength of their community, named “LYKYOU”, and how their musical, visual, and social world continues to attract more and more people.

In addition, the group recently announced its world tour, the “LYKN Dusk & Dawn World Tour”, which now extends beyond Asia to include cities in North and South America, Europe, and other regions.
A new trend? In any case, they are the group to watch.
