nCH ENTERTAINMENT clarified allegations that the agency had maliciously obstructed the “DREAM CONCERT IN HONG KONG 2026”.

nCH ENTERTAINMENT issued a statement on December 29 declaring: “The Association of Entertainment Producers, organizer of the DREAM CONCERT, published in November articles claiming that nCH ENTERTAINMENT obstructed the organization of the DREAM CONCERT IN HONG KONG by spreading false information and making threatening contacts, but these claims are false.”
The agency continued: “Since last July, nCH ENTERTAINMENT has been in discussions with the Kai Tak Sports Stadium in Hong Kong regarding a rental request and concert organization, and visited the site in October under the name nCH ENTERTAINMENT for a technical inspection by the production team. nCH ENTERTAINMENT simply waited until receiving an official notice stating that the rental was difficult, but the DREAM CONCERT falsely claims this constitutes spreading false information and obstructing activities.”
nCH ENTERTAINMENT also stated: “The DREAM CONCERT organizer, From Entertainment, damaged the credibility of nCH ENTERTAINMENT by circulating false rumors that nCH ENTERTAINMENT had visited Hong Kong under the name From. nCH ENTERTAINMENT officially requested and received site visit authorization via official correspondence, and we confirm that clear evidence exists through emails and documents.”
It added: “The claim by the DREAM CONCERT that a nCH ENTERTAINMENT representative contacted DREAM CONCERT officials in Chinese to obstruct or threaten their activities is completely false, and we clarify that this person does not belong to nCH ENTERTAINMENT. nCH ENTERTAINMENT has no Chinese-speaking employees and has never had direct communication with DREAM CONCERT officials regarding this matter.”
nCH ENTERTAINMENT further asserted: “A representative of the Association of Entertainment Producers contacted nCH ENTERTAINMENT, stating that if nCH ENTERTAINMENT cooperated so that MBC and the DREAM CONCERT could organize a concert together at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, they would help avoid further criminal charges, which constitutes an attempt at threat and persuasion. Additionally, a representative of From Entertainment repeatedly attempted to persuade nCH ENTERTAINMENT to give up certain artists planned for the Macao 2026 concert to the DREAM CONCERT.”
It continued: “Last week, the DREAM CONCERT repeatedly contacted the Macao Ministry of Culture’s venue approval department, disparaging nCH ENTERTAINMENT, organizer of the Macao concert, and spreading false information with malicious intent to cancel the event. They also contacted numerous media outlets to propagate false information claiming that organizing the Macao concert would be difficult.”
Moreover, nCH ENTERTAINMENT emphasized: “We can no longer remain passive in the face of malicious acts exceeding the limits of the DREAM CONCERT, which cause harm not only to our company but also to many partners, agencies, and artists collaborating on this event. We will take all necessary legal actions for serious obstruction of activities, damage to credibility, dissemination of false information, and slander, in order to put an end to these abusive behaviors.”
On their side, on November 13, the Korean Association of Entertainment Producers issued a statement asserting: “During the preparation process for the DREAM CONCERT IN HONG KONG, scheduled for February 6 and 7, 2026, at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, we observed facts indicating that nCH ENTERTAINMENT spread false information, made threatening contacts, and intentionally obstructed concert preparation.”
It added: “We judged that these acts could cause serious damage to the stability of concert preparation as well as the reputation of participating artists and companies, and therefore officially filed a complaint with the Gangnam police station, attaching relevant evidence.”
