The group NEWJEANS has seen DANIELLE be removed.
The agency ADOR announced that it has issued a notice of termination of the exclusive contract, stating that the main responsibility for the conflict situation with NEWJEANS lies with DANIELLE’s side.
On December 29, ADOR stated:
“We determined that it would be difficult for DANIELLE to continue her activities as a member of NEWJEANS and as an artist under ADOR, and therefore notified her today of the termination of her exclusive contract. In addition, regarding a family member of DANIELLE and former CEO Min Heejin, whom we believe bear major responsibility for the emergence of this conflict as well as for NEWJEANS’ departure and the delay of their comeback, we plan to pursue legal action to establish legal liability.”
On the same day, ADOR also stated: “Since the final confirmation of the court ruling regarding the validity of the exclusive contract, we have held numerous discussions with MINJI, HANNI, and DANIELLE, as well as with the families of the three members,” and publicly announced the reinstatement of HANNI.
A representative explained: “HANNI came to Korea with her family and held long, in-depth discussions with ADOR. This process allowed all parties to revisit past events and take the time to objectively examine the situation. Following sincere discussions, HANNI decided to respect the court’s decision and continue with ADOR.”
MINJI is currently continuing discussions in order to broaden mutual understanding between the parties.
On the other hand, DANIELLE has left the agency while assuming responsibility for this conflict. As a result, full group activities of NEWJEANS have become difficult.
ADOR explained: “Throughout the discussions, we found that the members had, over a long period of time, received distorted and biased information, which led to many misunderstandings toward the company and ultimately resulted in this conflict. The agency and the artists agreed that, in order to regain the love of fans and the public, it is necessary, even if it takes time, to completely resolve these misunderstandings based on accurate facts,” adding: “We have also agreed to later take the opportunity to address the various controversies that arose during the conflict, and we are currently discussing the timing and method for doing so.”
Finally, ADOR emphasized: “We will do our utmost to resolve the situation amicably and enable NEWJEANS to return to their fans as soon as possible.”

어도어는 전속계약유효확인의 소 판결 확정 이후 민지, 하니, 다니엘 및 세 멤버의 가족분들과 많은 대화를 나눠왔습니다. 하니는 가족분들과 함께 한국을 방문해 어도어와 장시간에 걸쳐 깊이 있는 대화를 나누었습니다.

다니엘의 경우 뉴진스 멤버이자 어도어 소속 아티스트로 함께 하기 어렵다고 판단하여, 당사는 금일 전속계약해지를 통보했습니다. 또한, 이번 분쟁 상황을 초래하고 뉴진스 이탈과 복귀 지연에 중대한 책임이 있는 다니엘 가족 1인과 민희진 전 대표에 대해서는 법적 책임을 물을 예정입니다.
