NEWJEANS - DANIELLE
The dispute surrounding the exclusive contract involving DANIELLE, a former member of NEWJEANS, is expected to escalate into a legal battle.

According to the music industry on December 30, speculation suggests that the amount of contractual penalties that could be claimed from DANIELLE in this case may reach the trillion-won range.
ADOR announced the previous day that it had notified DANIELLE of the termination of her exclusive contract and had initiated legal proceedings to claim contractual penalties as well as damages.
ADOR stated, “We determined that it was difficult to continue with DANIELLE as a member of NEWJEANS and as an artist affiliated with ADOR,” adding, “We plan to file the lawsuit regarding contractual penalties and damages today.”
Regarding the reasons for terminating the exclusive contract, ADOR explained that contract violations had occurred, including the conclusion of agreements that conflicted with the exclusive contract, independent artistic activities, and actions that damaged the reputation and credibility of the company and NEWJEANS. ADOR further stated that these issues were not corrected within the given period despite requests for rectification.
However, ADOR did not disclose the exact amount being claimed, noting that the contractual penalties would follow the formula stipulated in the exclusive contract.
