The group LIGHTSUM is generating excitement with a new unit.
According to CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, on December 31, the LIGHTSUM unit composed of SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON will release a digital single in January 2026.
A photo with a minimalist atmosphere, contrasting a black background with white outfits, also drew attention. The gazes of the three members, leaning against each other and facing the same direction, hint at the emotional texture of the upcoming digital single.
Previously, SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON revealed a cover video of “Golden”, OST from the Netflix animated film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS”, capturing attention with their explosive vocal power and delicate expressiveness. The three members are set to once again demonstrate the remarkable presence and synergy of this unit.
This year, LIGHTSUM continued its activities by responding to numerous festival invitations. Starting with “KANSAI COLLECTION 2025 SPRING & SUMMER” held last March at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, the group met the audience at “2025 JINJU M2 FESTIVAL”, “2025 KASSCHOOL FESTIVAL”, “TSUBAME SANJO JAPAN FESTIVAL”, and “2025 IMSIL SANTA FESTIVAL”. In addition, the group will perform today at “2026 GUMI CITY NEW HOPE COUNTDOWN” to close the year.
