The crossover group LA POEM returns after one year and nine months with a new album, collaborating with a luxury production team covering multiple genres.
The management company DRAMAHOUSE STUDIO released on January 9 via their official social media the tracklist of LA POEM’s third mini-album, “ALIVE“.
The title track of this album has been confirmed as “Meant to be”. The nationally representative lyricist KIM EANA wrote the lyrics, and LUCKY CLOVER, who worked on many OSTs of popular dramas such as “King the Land” and “Tyrant’s chef”, participated in the composition to elevate the quality of the song.
The included tracks are also splendid. The eponymous song “Alive“ was written by KIM SUJI, SHIN JAEPYEONG of PEPPERTONES wrote the lyrics of “오랜 약속”, and the uniquely colored singer-songwriter AN YE EUN participated in writing and composing “살리라”, announcing a synergy with LA POEM. In addition, a song in Spanish, “Este amor”, produced by a local production team in Spain, is included, for a total of five songs.
In particular, among the tracks, “Alive“ and “오랜 약속” were created in collaboration with CREATION MUSIC RIGHTS, a music publishing company under SM ENTERTAINMENT, aiming to expand the field of crossover music.
This new album is the first mini-album released about one year and nine months after the single “MIRROR” from 2024. As it returns after a long hiatus, it is expected to contain the strong vocal ability unique to LA POEM and an even deeper musical identity.
LA POEM’s third mini-album, “ALIVE“, will be released on January 20 at 18:00 KST on various online music platforms.
