The country’s first environmentally friendly music festival aiming to achieve carbon neutrality, “SUSTAINABLE WAVE FESTIVAL 2026“, has officially begun by revealing its first lineup of artists.

Leading musicians, combining both popularity and musicality, have signed their names, raising the expectations of music fans for this summer.
Organized by AOD (에이오디) and led by Sound Alliance (사운드얼라이언스), the first lineup of “SUSTAINABLE WAVE FESTIVAL 2026” includes GOD, EPIK HIGH, ZION.T, BOL4, and SORAN. Artists displaying a wide musical spectrum that transcends generations are gathering in one place, thus announcing a stage of great richness.
This festival, which will be held on August 29 and 30 at the Incheon Munhak Stadium, has already proven the burning interest it generates, with both presale ticket sessions completely selling out. Added to this is the announcement of the arrival of artists with strong personalities, pushing expectations up a notch.
At the center of this lineup is the national group GOD. With era-defining hit songs such as “촛불하나” and “하늘색 풍선”, as well as “Lie” and “Road”, they plan to form a bond of sympathy that transcends generations with the audience. Representing the South Korean hip-hop scene, EPIK HIGH will present both their signature explosive energy and deep sensitivity through “Fly”, “Umbrella”, “Love love love”, and “Home is far away”.
ZION.T will add to the atmosphere of summer nights with his iconic songs of unique sensitivity such as “Yanghwa brdg”, “Eat”, “No makeup”, and “Snow”. BOL4 is expected to perfect the free atmosphere characteristic of outdoor festivals with stages imbued with the sensitivity of youth, like “Galaxy”, “Some”, and “Travel”. SORAN also promises to heat up the venue thanks to their signature joyful stage command, highlighting “Don’t lose weight”, “I study you”, and “Ricotta cheese salad”.
The “SUSTAINABLE WAVE FESTIVAL 2026” aspires to be a cultural project that reflects on a sustainable future, going beyond a simple show. It is designed in such a way that music, citizens, and businesses participate together in order to convey a message of response to climate change in a more familiar way, allowing the audience to naturally experience environmentally friendly practices in daily life.
In particular, the calculation of carbon emissions and reductions for this festival is carried out as part of the 2026 cultural technology research and development project, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency. Through this, it seems that it will propose a new standard for the culture of eco-responsible shows.
The organizers stated: “We wanted to convey the value of a sustainable life in a simpler and more natural way through music”, adding: “Rather than a heavy discourse, we are going to create a festival venue where the audience can think about the environment and the future while enjoying the performances they love.” They continued by sharing: “Along with the revelation of an additional lineup, various eco-responsible experience programs and collaborative content with brands will also be presented sequentially.”
Furthermore, regular tickets for “SUSTAINABLE WAVE FESTIVAL 2026” will officially go on sale on June 5 at 1 p.m. KST, via online booking sites such as Yes24 Ticket, Ticket Link, and Naver.
This festival, which carries both musical quality and a social message, promises to be a significant milestone demonstrating that environmentally friendly cultural content can coexist with popularity.
