The K-pop schedule management app BLIP has selected BIGBANG, celebrating the 20th anniversary of its debut this year, as a new artist, providing fans with a fresh fandom experience.

On January 13, the BLIP team stated: “As expectations for BIGBANG’s full-group return this year continue to grow, we received numerous fan requests. That’s why we selected BIGBANG as a new artist on BLIP and launched the service.”
Considered by K-pop fans as an “essential app for fandoms,” BLIP is a platform offering a fan-centered experience through various features such as K-pop artist schedules, fan logs, galleries, and topics.
The BIGBANG fandom, V.I.P, can use BLIP to check the group’s domestic and international activities by category, shows, events, celebrations, etc., and receive notifications 10 minutes before each scheduled activity begins.
Additionally, with the personal fandom journal function, Fanlog, fans can record their precious moments with BIGBANG, linked to the schedule and accompanied by photos. They can also meet “fandom mates” with similar tastes or better understand their own preferences through fandom missions, as well as share their favorite artist moments via the Gallery feature, allowing enjoyment of the fandom both during active periods and breaks.
Moreover, BIGBANG is scheduled to appear at the United States’ largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, in April, heightening anticipation for their full-group activities for the 20th anniversary of their debut. Prior to this, G-DRAGON and DAESUNG set the momentum with their solo activities, and the announcement of TAEYANG’s comeback adds to the excitement, drawing strong attention to BIGBANG’s steps in this symbolic year.
