The group LIGHTSUM conveys poignant emotion with its first unit SANGAH, CHOWON, JUHYEON.
LIGHTSUM (Sangah, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong) released on January 12, via its official SNS channels, the live clip teaser video for “아름답고도 아프구나” by SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON, announcing the first activity of the unit.
In the video, SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON complement immaculate white visuals with off-shoulder styling and jackets highlighting their respective personalities, creating an elegant atmosphere. In particular, CHOWON’s clear and pure voice captivates the ear, accompanied by the lights going out, leaving a gentle afterglow.
SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON reinterpret with a new sensitivity “아름답고도 아프구나” by BTOB, released in 2018. In the previously released listening video, JO KWON, HA SUNG WOON, and HUI previewed the LIGHTSUM version of “Areumdapgodo apeuguna”, giving abundant praise and sparking curiosity.
The first LIGHTSUM unit, SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON, will start 2026 activities with the digital single “아름답고도 아프구나”. Showing a different synergy than the full group, “아름답고도 아프구나” by SANGAH, CHOWON, and JUHYEON will be released on January 15 at 18h KST on major music platforms.
