MISAMO, the unit of the group TWICE, has unveiled the highlight medley video for its first Japanese full-length album.

The sub-unit MISAMO will release its first Japanese studio album, “PLAY,” on February 4. Following the pre-release of the title track “Confetti” and its music video on the 16th, the album’s highlight medley was revealed at midnight KST on January 26 through the group’s official SNS channels.
The video opens with a surprise appearance by actor Takeru Satoh and the launch of an audition to determine the true owner of the throne. Through “Turning tables,” MINA presents an independent figure who decisively chooses what she desires. SANA, with “Ma cherry,” embodies a presence “everyone admires at least once,” blending softness with inner strength. Meanwhile, MOMO delivers a solo performance with “Kitty,” portraying a light that is uniquely her own even amid confusion.
At the end of the performances, just before the results are announced, MINA, SANA, and MOMO confront the judges who attempt to punish them. They ultimately prevail and conclude the scene wearing crowns. In addition to the three solo tracks among the album’s 12 songs, “Deep eden,” “Hmm,” and “Not a goodbye” are used as background music, creating the impression of having watched a full theatrical production.
The highlight medley draws even more attention thanks to the special participation of renowned actor Takeru Satoh as the audition’s master of ceremonies. In line with the theatrical theme suggested by the album title, the project was born from the members’ desire to collaborate with an actor, and the collaboration came to fruition when Takeru Satoh, who enjoys great popularity in both Korea and Japan, positively responded to the proposal.
The first studio album “PLAY” is MISAMO’s very first Japanese full-length album and serves as the final chapter of a trilogy linking their debut album “MASTERPIECE” released in July 2023 and their second mini-album “HAUTE COUTURE” released in November 2024. After imbuing the previous two projects with a classic and elegant atmosphere that expressed musical auras of “masterpiece” and “excellence,” MISAMO will unveil its own structured narrative through “Confetti” and a total of 12 tracks in this Japanese studio album “PLAY,” which is officially set for release on February 4.
