SEVENTEEN
The group SEVENTEEN (S.coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has inscribed its name on the “Global artist chart” announced by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) for five consecutive years.

According to the IFPI on February 18 (local time), SEVENTEEN ranked 14th on the “Global artist chart 2025”. Each year, the IFPI publishes the ranking up to the “Top 20” by adding worldwide physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures.
SEVENTEEN entered this ranking for the first time in 2021 at 9th place and has remained there consistently since. The only K-pop artists to have entered the IFPI’s “Global artist chart” for five consecutive years are SEVENTEEN and BTS.
Last year, SEVENTEEN released a total of four albums, including the 5th studio album “HAPPY BURSTDAY”, the 2nd single of BSS “TELEPARTY”, the 1st single of HOSHI X WOOZI “BEAM”, as well as the 1st mini-album of S.COUPS X MINGYU “HYPE VIBES”, thus demonstrating the true value of “Super IDOL”.
Among them, “HAPPY BURSTDAY” rose to 2nd place on the main American albums chart “Billboard 200”, and “HYPE VIBES” set a new record for the highest ranking of a K-pop unit album on that same chart. Carried by the balanced performances of the group and its units, SEVENTEEN also solely occupied positions 1 through 13 on the “2025 Billboard K-pop Artist 100”.
The “meteoric rise” of SEVENTEEN continues this year as well. First of all, the two main vocals of the group reunited, DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN, released in January the 1st mini-album “소야곡”, reaching first place on domestic and international music charts with the ballad-genre title track “Blue”. Another unit, S.COUPS X MINGYU, is also continuing “CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY” in five domestic and international cities.
The world tour also continues. SEVENTEEN will launch “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA” starting at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on the 28th and 1st of next month, before performing in large stadiums in major cities across Asia.
