KATSEYE, who took the stage at “COACHELLA”, the largest music festival in the United States, immediately captured the gaze of the local audience with bold visuals.
The members appeared dressed in lingerie-style stage costumes, marked by bold exposure and luxurious decorations, announcing the start of the performance by exuding an unmatched aura. Their fashion, embodying a confident and free energy, harmonized with the burning heat of the venue, engraving their status as global icons.
KATSEYE delivered a solo performance of approximately 45 minutes on the “SAHARA STAGE” of the “COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL” held in Indio, California, on the 11th (Korean time). Having opened the show with their new song “Pinky up” released the day before, they dominated the stage by presenting a setlist of 11 songs in total and dynamic dance breaks. The members expressed their emotion by stating:
“We cannot believe that we are standing on the stage of “COACHELLA” that we have dreamed of so much. We sincerely thank the fans who turned our dream into reality”.
The highlight of the day’s performance was the collaboration stage with the virtual girl group HUNTR/X. When REI AMI, AUDREY NUNA and EJAE, the protagonists of “K-POP DEMON HUNTERS”, appeared by surprise on stage, the cheers reached their climax. “Golden”, presented by the union of the members of KATSEYE and the 3 members of HUNTR/X, maximized the vocal capacities of the members through a lyrical arrangement. The image of the nine girls building sophisticated harmonies while looking at each other offered a special experience breaking the boundary between the virtual and reality.
