The camp of ONE HUNDRED LABEL of Chairman Cha Ga Won has refuted the claims according to which it allegedly stole the online broadcast rights for THE BOYZ concerts from FROMM.

The lawyer Hyeon Dong Yeop, legal representative of ONE HUNDRED LABEL (hereinafter ONE HUNDRED) and its representative Cha Ga Won, announced on April 15 via an official position:
“We express our deep regrets concerning the claims of FROMM relating to THE BOYZ, and we declare our intention to respond firmly through legal channels”.
Previously, FROMM had claimed:
“We concluded an exclusive contract with ONE HUNDRED concerning the broadcast of THE BOYZ online concerts and paid the funds. However, despite this contract, our company received from ONE HUNDRED a unilateral notification of refusal of execution indicating that it would not pursue said project. Subsequently, ONE HUNDRED opened the sale of concert broadcast tickets with another company”.
Regarding this subject, the ONE HUNDRED camp explained: “Our company has the obligation to provide fans with a stable and high-quality concert broadcast service. However, in the past, FROMM has already caused major inconveniences to users by causing serious server failures (service interruption due to overheating of devices) during a live service, despite a low number of simultaneous connections (approximately 1,000 people). This THE BOYZ concert, “INTER-ZECTION”, is a crucial event where a higher number of simultaneous connections than ever before is expected. We judged that entrusting this stage to an unstable and unproven system would be a deception toward the fans and management negligence”.
The lack of communication, contractual non-performance, and breach of trust were also cited as reasons for refusal of execution. The ONE HUNDRED camp underlined:
“During the preparation process for THE BOYZ concert, the FROMM camp refused smooth communication with our company or showed an insincere attitude. The communication obstacles on the part of FROMM, which occurred during a preparation process where close collaboration is essential, fundamentally damaged the relationship of trust. Furthermore, after verifying the message conversation contents of the representative of FROMM through a private IT expertise, we confirmed that a large part of FROMM’s current claims clearly differs from the actual facts. Before claiming legal rights, FROMM should reflect on its own technical failures and its acts of breach of trust”.
THE BOYZ concert, “INTER-ZECTION”, will take place from the 24th to the 26th at the “Kspo dome”. Among these dates, the performance on the 26th will be subject to a live streaming.
Moreover, ONE HUNDRED, of which Chairman Cha Ga Won is the representative, is currently pursuing a conflict with its affiliated artists concerning settlement issues. Lee Seung Gi, Lee Mujin, Be’o, VIVIZ, and THE BOYZ have already requested the termination of their contracts from ONE HUNDRED.
