HYNN (Park Hye-won), a high-level vocalist representing the music industry, continues her exceptional “all-rounder” journey by announcing the release of her new song “주인공 연습”, followed by her very first challenge as a solo MC since her debut.
According to her agency NEW ORDER ENTERTAINMENT, HYNN was chosen as the sole host of the new web musical entertainment show from DAUM, titled “MONTHLY DAUM”, and has begun official filming.
“MONTHLY DAUM” is a comforting musical content that takes place in a “laundromat”, an everyday space, rather than on a flashy stage. As its name suggests, the show will be broadcast regularly every last Thursday of the month.
Under the concept of “washing the noise of a complex world to leave only the voice”, instrument sessions are minimized to focus on the artist’s vocal details. With a “slow breath” that goes against the current of the era of stimulating short formats, it plans to offer emotional comfort and a break in the lives of the viewers.
In particular, HYNN will present in this program an unexpected charm, different from her charisma on stage. Faithful to her host character described as having “national athlete vocal cords but the heart of a bon vivant”, she plans to lead a joyful atmosphere, as if one were visiting a friend, by communicating with guests with a frank and relaxed smile.
At the same time, the musical journey of HYNN, her main profession, also generates expectations. After giving the official kickoff of her comeback by revealing in preview her unreleased song “주인공 연습” during a recent surprise busking, she displays overflowing activity between the stage and television by landing the role of solo MC of an entertainment show.
Simultaneously announcing the preparations for her return to her original profession and her first solo MC challenge, HYNN expands her spectrum of activities in various fields. Her new web musical entertainment show “MONTHLY DAUM” will be broadcast for the first time on April 30 at 7 p.m. KST on the DAUM portal.
