The new mini-album from the virtual idol group PLAVE has reached a career peak.

According to HANTEO CHART statistics, PLAVE‘s fourth mini-album, “CALIGO PT.2“, released last April 13, exceeded 1,255,800 copies during the first week of sales (sales for the first week following the release), thus breaking its own record.
Previously, PLAVE had become the first virtual idol group to reach “million seller” status with its 3rd mini-album “CALIGO PT.1” and its single album “PLBBUU“, which had respectively exceeded 1.03 million and 1.09 million copies in the first week. This new album has once again surpassed its own record, proving constant popularity and growth since its debut.
This album is a work that fits into the continuity of the 3rd mini-album “CALIGO PT.1” released last February, sparking strong immersion from fans thanks to an expanded world-view and a deeper narrative.
In particular, the two albums proved their great impact on musical platforms, “CALIGO PT.1” occupying the historical 1st place and “CALIGO PT.2” the historical 2nd place according to the 24-hour streaming criterion after release on MELON.
Moreover, centered on the rock-influenced title song “Born savage”, the album showed the broad musical spectrum of PLAVE by encompassing various genres such as a cappella, R&B hip-hop, ballad, and new jack swing. It is evaluated as having reinforced its success by increasing its collection value thanks to high production quality.
Attention is now focused on the future journey of PLAVE, which continues its constant growth by establishing an unequaled presence as a virtual idol.
