The group EPEX has just frozen time by unveiling the official teasing poster for its highly anticipated comeback.
The eight boys are preparing to close a major chapter of their discography with the release of their 7th mini-album, titled “YOUTH : EPILOGUE”. This conceptual project marks a strong artistic turn for the group, who continues to explore the torments, hopes, and complexity of adolescence through their music.
The promotional image strikes immediately with its raw, almost mystical atmosphere, bathed in monochrome and cold tones. From behind facing an immense wall, the members sport matching and imposing white outfits, their raised hoods totally concealing their identity to only leave room for the collective. Above them, projected by a divine glow, shine the Chinese characters « 韶華 » (Shao Hua), a poetic term designating the “beautiful years” or the flower of youth.
This solemn and enigmatic imagery promises a visual and sonic aesthetic of great maturity, faithful to the group’s reputation as storytellers. Since their debut, the members of EPEX distinguish themselves by deep messages, addressing head-on the psychological and social realities of the new generation.
