The group INFINITE announced by surprise the holding of a full-group fan meeting on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of its debut.
INFINITE broadcasted on June 9, via its official YouTube channel, a live broadcast commemorating the 16th anniversary of its debut and spent a special time with fans from all over the world.
On this day, the members appeared with a 16th anniversary commemorative cake to address their thanks to the fans. INFINITE stated: “Today, we felt pride in being members of this team that is INFINITE”, and “We are grateful to the fans who have preciously kept our memories”.
The news of the members was also revealed during the live. KIM SUNG KYU shared the news of his 6th mini-album “OFF THE MAP” and his Asian tour, while NAM WOO HYUN announced the release of his new song celebrating the 10th anniversary of his solo debut “소년소녀 (Feat. 인피니트)”, as well as his appearances in the film “The gardian (납치 48시간)” and the Netflix series “Boyfriend on demand”.
L presented his first Asian fan-concert tour “UNCHAINED” and the Disney+ drama “공감세포”, while LEE SUNG JONG, JANG DONG WOO, and LEE SUNG YEOL also communicated with fans by sharing their news concerning fan meetings and various content activities.
The members offered laughter by showing a solid chemistry worthy of a group in its 16th year, through the behind-the-scenes stories of their own content “잉피로그” and a section where they directly wrote each other’s profiles.
In addition, they reviewed the time passed from the beginning of their career until today by looking together at photos of souvenir items sent by fans. The members also shared memories with the fans by each presenting an object that had meaning for them.
Particularly, at the end of the broadcast, the news of the holding of the full-group fan meeting “무한대집회V” was revealed, exciting the fans. INFINITE will organize this fan meeting on August 29 and 30 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon.
The members increased expectations by hinting: “It would be good to adjust your schedules well in advance so that we can have fun in an exciting way in the concert hall”, and “We are preparing ardently like energizing batteries. We think that there will perhaps be a new song”.
