RAVI
The singer RAVI, who had been caught up in a controversy for violation of the Military Service Act, is back in the music industry with a new digital single imbued with an even deeper sensibility.

On the afternoon of June 22 at 6 p.m. KST, RAVI released his new song “녘” exclusively on various online music sites. This new song is a track that expresses with RAVI‘s unique original perspective the trajectory of various emotions and the passage of time that we face throughout our lives.
A deep lyricism, including nostalgia, memories, and wishes that ultimately could not be achieved, is present throughout the song. In particular, in the lyrics, a sense of disconnection and inner sadness is expressed in a sensory way through phrases such as “The point of the universe has a lot of tears” and “Let everyone live in a square inside a square”. Then, with the lyrics “In the mirror of the child in the name of an adult, the old wrinkles of the father are visible, I learn nostalgia”, the sad heart of facing growth with the passage of time is depicted with delicacy.
The meticulously stacked lyrics and the restrained but heavy rap completed RAVI‘s unique and unrivaled musical color. “녘”, the new song by RAVI that sings the nuances of emotions with an even more sophisticated power of expression and a more solid gaze, can currently be listened to on various online music sites.
Previously, while serving as a social service agent since October 2022, RAVI had been indicted for attempting military service exemption by conspiring with a military service broker, Mr. A, via a false diagnosis of epilepsy. During the investigation process, the fact that Mr. A had sent a message to RAVI‘s entourage saying “Great, it’s army exemption” was revealed, causing waves. According to the prosecution’s investigation, it was established that RAVI had acted as if he had fainted according to the epilepsy scenario prepared by Mr. A to undergo hospital examinations.
Subsequently, in the first instance, a sentence of one year in prison with a suspension of two years was pronounced, and the prosecution immediately appealed, claiming that the sentence was unjust, but the court of appeal maintained the initial judgment as it was. After the verdict, neither party having appealed to the Supreme Court, the sentence was confirmed as it was, and RAVI completed the remainder of his service in accordance with the confirmed judgment and announced his end of service on December 13 of last year.
