“ACON 2026” warms up the summer night of Taipei.
The festival of the “Asia Artist Awards” (AAA) “ACON 2026, The Road to AAA 2026: Official Pre-show” is held on July 25 at the NTSU Arena (林口體育館) in Taipei, Taiwan.
This show recorded a sold-out box office for all seats, proving the keen interest of international K-pop fans. Based on the main theme of “Youth”, it will present music encompassing generations and varied performances, and various K-pop artists will take to the stage to transmit the energy and sensibility of youth.
“ACON 2026” is an official pre-show held ahead of “AAA 2026”, and is a place that announces the start of the festival alongside K-pop artists.
The role of MC was entrusted to SUNG HAN BIN, and MEOVV, XDINARY HEROES, YENA, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KISS OF LIFE, NEXZ, QWER, and others appear there to deploy stages filled with the individuality of each team.
Special stages for local fans were also prepared. The MC SUNG HAN BIN will present on a solo stage the representative song “Hard to say” by Taiwanese R&B singer-songwriter Karencici. QWER will present the hit track “Love ing (戀愛ing)” by national Taiwanese group Mayday (五月天), and YENA arouses expectations by preparing as a special stage a song that received great love locally.
Cover stages reinterpreting representative songs of K-pop also continue. MEOVV will present “Dynamite” by BTS, and CLOSE YOUR EYES will present “Overdose” by EXO in their own style. KISS OF LIFE prepared a cover stage of “Bae bae” by BIGBANG, and NEXZ will take to the stage by reinterpreting in a new way a representative song of GOT7.
To this is added a special collaboration of CLOSE YOUR EYES and NEXZ using famous tracks by Michael Jackson. The two teams will complete a special stage that can only be met in “ACON 2026” by preparing a dance performance with a composition of 3 members against 3 and a joint stage of “Thriller”. CLOSE YOUR EYES will reinterpret and present “Dangerous”, and NEXZ “Beat It”, with the color of each team.
Like this, “ACON 2026” will illuminate the summer night of Taipei through various special stages and collaboration stages, and should sumptuously announce the start of the festival toward “AAA 2026”.
