The agency With US Entertainment will release the fourth mini-album of THE WIND, “SECOND WIND : S#00”, on July 29 at 6 p.m. KST on various music sites.
“SECOND WIND : S#00” is an album that contains the strength that comes back in moments of fatigue, as well as a second wind to jump higher. THE WIND, which has constantly presented its own refreshing music since its debut, completed a new identity called “청량 힙 (fresh hip)” by adding a freer and more confident atmosphere through this album.
The subtitle “S#00” is an origin code declaring a higher level and not a reboot. “#00” means the coordinates where all stories begin, and the first page where the new world of THE WIND is recorded for the first time. This means not returning to the beginning, but a statement that THE WIND, which has become more solid by using the experiences and growth up to now as a springboard, will set off again toward a new direction.
The title song “Party like a rock star” is a pop & rock track where a funky lead guitar riff and an EDM-style lead synth harmonize, and a cheerful band sound and explosive energy combine to freshly tint the music industry this summer.
This album increased its degree of perfection thanks to BLOCK B member, PARK KYUNG, who took charge of the production. On the basis of the existing refreshing team color, he completed the expanded musical spectrum of THE WIND by covering a wide range of genres from emotional pop & R&B to full-energy pop & rock and trendy contemporary pop & rock.
