Today, November 18, 2017, the website “한국 기업 평판 연구소” (Korean Reputation Center) unveils the list of the most popular Kpop artists in terms of brands. To simplify, which artists are the most sought after by brands to promote them?
Let’s start with the popularity of girls: which band member is the most popular among all these talented artists?
We discover that for this month of November, the most sought-after female artist is RED VELVET‘s Irene. Then come: SNSD‘s Yoona in 2nd, TWICE‘s Jeong Hyun in 3rd, TWICE‘s Sana in 4th and EXID‘s Hani in 5th. We also note that all of the members from TWICE are in the TOP 15. BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo only arrives at the 49th place, while GOOD DAY‘s Jiwon, who has just debuted at the end of this year, has already reached the 81st place, which bodes well for the young woman.
As for the women’s groups, it should be noted that TWICE dominate this ranking in front of RED VELVET in second place and BLACKPINK in 3rd.
In the TOP 5, we then find APINK in 4th position and EXID in 5th. While in the TOP 10 less known or separate groups that sell are found, this is the case for STELLAR, T-ARA or RAINBOW. The various groups formed at the end of the show Produce 101 S2 are also all in the rankings: JBJ in 5th position, RAINZ in the 19th and MXM in 38th. Young groups that have just debuted are also trying to find a spot, such as TRCNG, reaching the 29th place, GOLDEN CHILD, the 31st and ACE in 49th position. A competition that remains quite difficult.
And as for male idols, who does the most sell? Which artist will you see on a maximum of advertising or in TV spots?
He dominates the first place among all the singing boys in the world of Kpop, its setbacks on the show Produce 101 S2 would not have hurt him, because you will see he has a hell of a head start. We, of course, are talking about KANG Daniel from group WANNA ONE who takes the lead of the most selling artists, followed by a loan from BTS‘ Jimin in 2nd, WANNA ONE‘s Park Jihoon in 3rd, WANNA ONE‘s Ong Seongwu in 4th and SHINEE‘s Taemin in 5th.

You will also discover that some members of less popular groups are doing well, such as Noh Taeyeon of HOTSHOT who reaches the 39th place or Lee Sang of IMFACT who is in 52nd place.
