B.A.P‘s former member BANG YONG GUK makes a teaser for the release of his new single “Hikikomori“.
This is a new first step for BANG YONG GUK, after leaving his original agency TS Entertainment. He launches his first teaser for his title “Hikikomori“.
In the teaser that is revealed, BANG YONG GUK appears blindfolded by the applause of the audience, before leaving the stage. It’s a strong image that the rapper reveals, as if he knew the sound of success but could not see it. Only by dropping the blindfold and standing back can he finally smile.
The title “Hikikomori” 引き篭り is a Japanese word for a psychosocial and family pathology affecting mainly adolescents or young adults who live cut off from the world and others. Young people in social withdrawal feel overwhelmed by society. Neither bedridden nor autistic nor mentally retarded. They feel they can not achieve their life goals and react by isolating themselves from society.
BANG YONG GUK has regularly published a mixture of personal feeling, in his own voice, in the production, writing and composition of B.A.P. From now on, he will perform his own music in front of the audience after a long time, with his first release of “Hikikomori“.
BANG YONG GUK‘s new solo single will be released on January 20th.
