The French TV channel number 1, is about to broadcast an adaptation of the Korean show “KING OF MASKED SINGER 복면가왕“.
The Korean show aired for the first time in 2015 on the MBC channel. The show is a huge success because it allows you to focus on the artist’s voice and not on the physical. Whether singer, actor or other personality, the candidates appear hidden under costumes and masked. Their voice is changed except when they sing.
The pilot of the show allowed EXID’s SOLJI to discover her vocal power, whereas no one would have thought that a young woman member of an idol group could have such an ability.
French fans are already starting to react and ask themselves questions about how the show will unfold and especially which personality will be able to participate.
Knowing that the FOX channel in the USA has already taken up the concept “THE MASKED SINGER” and also wins a huge success.
