According to his agency YG Entertainment, today, the MV of “Ddu-du ddu-du” has exceeded 800 million views on YouTube at 4:16pm KST. This is the first time, in 329 days since its release on June 15th, that the music video of a group of KPOP exceeds 800 million views on YouTube, except for PSY.
“YouTube and social media are the catalysts that have brought the global music market to a new landscape,” said YG Entertainment, noting that the world was paying attention to BLACKPINK, nicknamed them “queens”.
