LEE KYEONG HA, a former member of the group TST, was sentenced by a court of appeal for juvenile offenses.

According to legal sources, on May 20, the criminal department 9 (Chief Judge Han, Gyu-Hyeon) of the Seoul Appellate Court, upheld the ruling of 18 months in prison with three years of probation on the case of LEE KYEONG HA, who was charged with a violation of “the Act of Juvenile Sex Protection” (forced indecent assault) on May 16.
The justice department noted in the adjudication that “It is sufficiently acknowledged that the accused committed an indecent assault on the victim based on the adopted proofs in the original trial—mainly victim’s sworn testimony and text messages on Kakao Talk,” and declared that “the accused asserted that the victim brought an accusation against him because she had been rejected by the accused when she asked him out. However, his assertion is without rationality (logic).”
The justice department explained that “the accused committed an indecent assault on the victim in contravention of her will, and the victim’s psychological injury appears substantial. The accused did not obtain the victim’s pardon, and the accused had sued the victim of libel based on facts, whereby the victim was punished with a fine.”
In December, 2014, LEE KYEONG HA was charged with an indecent assault on the victim in a building. In 2017, having let her incident known on her SNS, the victim brought an accusation against him.
In January 2017, as this incident became public, LEE KYEONG HA, who debuted as TST, resigned from the band and made an apology.
In the Seoul West District Court, LEE KYEONG HA was sentenced to 18 months in prison with three years of probation for his indecent assault and submitted a petition of appeal in denial of the sentence.
