On Sunday, B.I.G received the « Koreans who make Korea Shine Worldwide Award ».
During the 29th ceremony of the Korean Awards held in the Press Center in Seoul last Sunday, B.I.G received an award in the Culture, Arts and Achievements category.
It’s an award given to personalities who have contributed through their efforts to make South Korea shine in many areas such as national and political development, economy, social life, culture and religion.
B.I.G received an award this year for its great contribution to promote k-pop in the arabic countries. The group indeed made headlines by posting arabic songs on its Youtube channel such as « LM3ALLEM », « LA BEZZAF », « BOSHREIT KHEIR » and « 3DAQAT » for its Global Cover Project.
Last november, B.I.G also held its first concert in Abu Dhabi during the Korean Festival organized by the Korean Cultural Center. During this event, BENJI, GUNMIN, MINPYO, HEEDO and JINSEOK met with more than 1.000 local fans proving their hot popularity as global idoles in this area.
The group debuted in 2014 with the song « HELLO » and has been communicating with fans through music, broadcasting and performances since then. On November 4th, they came back with the song « ILLUSION » sang both in korean and arabic by the members.
