Army musical “The Promise of the Day” will cancel performances in Goyang and Ansan due to the spread of the coronavirus.
“The recent confirmed case of Wuhan pneumonia (the new corona virus) was in the Seoul metropolitan area and in parts of Gyeonggi province, so we decided that risky to maintain performance,” said Live Culture, l organizer of the performance of “The Promise of the Day“.
“We sincerely apologize to the public for waiting for the concert and I request a broad understanding of the measures taken for public safety.” The organizer also said that he planned to refund the full amount of the payment without cancellation fees.
While the cancellations have been finalized for the concert from February 7th to 9th in Ilsan and the concert from February 21st to 23rd in Ansan, the concert on January 31st in Mokpo and the performance on February 28th in Gimhae will proceed normally.
The army’s creative musical is based on the excavation of the remains of combat heroes who made noble sacrifices to protect their country from the Korean War. It will present celebrities who have become soldiers such as ONEW from SHINEE, XIUMIN from EXO, LEE SUNG YEOL from INFINITE and YOON JI SUNG.
